Pictures

This picture is from the Mom2Mom sale in March.

Mariah selling some baked goodies to Fabian. Or pretending to- not really sure.  :)

These pictures are from our can and bottle drive
that we did in February.
Taylor is always a ready helper!  She worked really hard on our can and bottle drive.
We are going through all the cans and bottles that we collected in
Greg and Krisie's garage in this picture.

All these wonderful people are part of our mission team.
There are more though that aren't in the picture.

These pictures are from our Drive-Thru Nativity in December.
Joseph and pregnant Mary- I think it is Jake (part of the mission team) and Helena.
This was our village of Bethlehem scene.  I think the soldier is Matt (part of our mission team).
 Lots of cold people!!
Our Shepherds and their sheep dog, Maci.
I think this is Greg with his back to us (part of the mission team) and Mark.
Our Angels!  Trying to stay warm!
Taylor, Mariah, and one of the girls from our youth group.
Our stable scene complete with sheep, chickens, and a cow.

There is our inn keeper (John).
Mary (Grace), baby Jesus, Joseph (Jeff),
and our shepherd (Mike Raymond who also owned all the animals!).

Here are some pictures taken by Key of Hope.
They are from their facebook page.
I copied what they had written under each picture and the date.

These kids got new shoes today - plus some hugs, a healthy dose of encouragement, and lots of laughs. We visit almost 300 children at home each week. August 11th 2010

These three beautiful little girls lost their father to AIDS two months ago. On Friday morning, their mother passed away. We are working at the edge of destruction, death, and despair. It's time to get involved and do your part to change the future for hundreds of children just like these. July 20th, 2010
Londeka and Amahle attend our program faithfully every week. Late last night, they lost everything when their tiny shack burned down. We almost lost little Amahle, who was the last to run from the house, her clothes on fire.  May 26th, 2010

Found these two standing by the curb with their nine year old sister early this morning. After questioning them, I found out that mom was too sick to move or speak, and had sent them get a taxi minibus to granny's house on the other side of the squatter camp. I drove them, and granny told me that their father had died yesterday, but she knew mom couldn't handle the news in her condition. Mom may soon be gone, too. What will they do? May 3rd 2010

Can you imagine being HIV+ at 7 years old? This poem was on the blackboard at one of the schools we work in, to encourage the students that it's okay to play with children who have AIDS. March 18th 2010

Climbed a mango tree today to get down the last mango. The kids were throwing rocks at it to try to get something to eat. Then I had to decide who to give it to... October 14th, 2009
