Saturday continued . . .

Well it is now Sunday evening around 7pm and I finally have some spare time to finish posting pictures from Saturday.
Matt playing with some of the girls.  They all loved being swung around by all the strong men on our team.

Jake has a friend on his back.

More swinging around.

The kids really wanted to run around a lot, so they agreed to race a few of the members of our team who like to run.  So here they are all lined up ready to run towards me.

They were so fast.

They raced several times and the kids won every time.  lol!  Running barefoot no less.

Kim is showing the kids the video she just took.  They all crowded around her.

Dee and a little friend.

Older boys playing with a soccer ball, and some of the teens from our team.

John joining in.

A group picture!

After we were done with the Saturday program we drove to Key of Hope's office and had our lunch there.  We also got to see the building that we will be working on every morning.

This is the inside of the building.  They had already started power washing the inside of it.

This is the floor.  It is wet from the washing.  It has graffity on it that needs to be removed.

On our way home Dan took us to Red Hill Cemetary.  It was a shocking experience.  They are digging several new graves every day because so many people in this area are dying of HIV.

These are some fresh graves just filled on Saturday.

They go as far as you can see.  Such a horrible sight.

There was a funeral going on further into the cemetary, so we stayed right at the edge.  This is why there is such a need for help for these children that Key of Hope works with.  Most of them have lost one or both parents from AIDS.  Death is an everyday reality for these children.
